Yet another great day for riding. The temperature was right on. I wore arms and 1 base layer. I removed the arms at the end of OTR. My legs were a bit heavy in the first 20 minutes of the ride. The winds were from the south, which meant I was going to have a headwind on the way out. So I decided to do modest tempo for the first half and pick up the pace for the last half of the out-going leg. I felt strong, my legs were responding good at this point and I had no ailments. The return trip started at good tempo for the first 2 or 3 miles. Then I laid the hammer down and did strong tempo for the last 2/3rds of the return leg. I felt real good on the last leg. I was right below my red-line and I was able to hold it all the way to Banducci. It felt fantastic! My concentration was about as good as it's going to get. Balance was ok for the first half of the ride and good for the last. Gear worked flawless. Everything came together just right on this ride. Other notes, there were 2 cyclists that I saw. One ahead of me on the way out, and the other on the way out as I was making the return trip. The next time I do this ride, I've going to head North at the end of Highline and see what's out that way.
