Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

First things first. I botched today's ride because of 2 things. 1, I forgot to start the timer on the GPS until about 15 or so minutes into the ride. 2, I forgot to set my gopro to video record after starting the Highline out-going leg. Setting that aside, today's wind was perfect for a speed attempt on the way out, on Highline. The wind was almost a perfect tailwind. So, naturally, I decided to put down as much power as I could on the entire out-going leg. My legs started a bit heavy and felt a bit better by the time I reached the end of OTR. The weather was cool, and, like I said, the winds were favorable. I wore 1 base later, arms and knees. I started the time-trial leg in good to high tempo, increasing as I approached the top of the first 1 climb. I took a breather for about 30 seconds, and then put the power down just as quick. I held this pace until the very end of the road. I was well concentrated, gauging my body's effort and watching the road for debris. My ailments consisted of soreness in the hips (especially when I was in the drops), burning thighs (no surprise there), and a hint of right leg calf cramping, which was more like a pinching sensation that lasted a few seconds. My balance was right on, especially given that the tail-wind was almost perfect. So, I put everything on the way out and put it into modest tempo on the return trip. I don't know what sort of time I did on the time-trial leg, but I'll calculate it and add more comments. I'll also calculate how much time that wasn't recorded on the GPS. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists on Highline going the opposite direction.
Gear is working well, although I was fumbling with the gopro, it was due to user error. Bike has minimal creaking and I oiled the chain.
I've done the math and the average speed of the time-trial leg was 23.11 MPH.
I've done the math for the total time and it came out to about 1:25:16 moving time.
