I put in a quick ride because I had stuff to do and I was limited on time. The Buffalo Run fit perfect. I felt pretty good to start. The wind was from the South East. I wore the standard winter kit. So, I was perfectly warm. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The ascent to the top of Highline was into a headwind, so I had to be patient. I zipped around the local neighborhood and then back to Highline for the return. After making it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was adequate. It wasn't perfect, but no gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand numbness as I was making my way to the summit of the Buffalo neighborhood. Gear worked flawlessly. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through about half my sport drink, perhaps a bit more. Other notes, no cyclists today. Dad is feeling better, I was thinking about him while I was out there.
