Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I decided to go to CV today. The weather is on the cold side. I wore arms, knees, head cap, thick base layer, jacket and long finger gloves. I was sufficiently warm for the duration of the ride. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall climb went quick. There was some traffic mitigation, but most of it was going the opposite way. After cresting the summit, I pulled over to recover, hydrate and let traffic by. I made it there in good average time. Shortly after, I headed down the mountain. It was safe. I kept my eyes on the road and was playing it a bit on the cautious side. The trek through the farmlands was the most boring part of the ride. I tried not to think about it too much. I made it to Boss Hogs in about 1:02 hours. So, I was on par for a respectable time. The last climb went well. I kept the tempo moderate and was doing in and out of the saddle efforts to keep the muscles as fresh as possible. After making it to the summit, I was able to recover on the false flats. Route 202 had some traffic mitigation. I had to speed up to get to the left turn lane because traffic was bearing down on me from behind. Nevertheless, I made it safely. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down when I reached the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. Perhaps a bit impatient here and there. There were minimal lapses and no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness from time to time. Nutrition was good. I had no hunger signs. I went through most of my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly. I forgot to check the GoPro, but it was rolling when I got back home, so no lost footage. Other notes, no cyclists today.
