Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Great weather today. A bit warm, but a nice cool breeze from the North-West. I felt pretty good for the first half mile. I think the overall ride today was ideal. I was able to keep no less than moderate tempo, mostly good tempo for the entire ride. I punched it a bit over the Banducci wall, and the rest of the summits were done with steady tempo. I reached the summit of Banducci in about 36 minutes and SS in about 47. I was a bit winded over the top as usual. It's that wall of air that hits you just as you crest the summit. There's no way around it. I did good time around SS, I reached the tunnel in under 49 minutes. And departed SS in about 1:04ish. The wind was a bit cross, so I didn't get the full advantage of a tail-wind. But it made it for a good overall average. I past Boss Hogs in around 1:08ish. At this point, my legs were still fresh and I had dosed my efforts close to perfect. The last climb felt better than the previous ride. I was a bit gassed towards the last 1/2 mile or so, and kept a steady tempo over the summit. From that point on, I put it in cruise control all the way home. Ailments consisted of some left hip soreness. To mitigate that, I rode hands off the bars. I think I had a hint of left lower back soreness, but nothing serious. I stretched on the bike, and that kept things nice and supple. Balance was probably the lesser. I was constantly shifting in the saddle and coaching myself to get that center line dialed in. Gear is working well. The cadence sensor was a little on and off. I think I need to replace the battery. The bits of noises from the bike were less today, but noticeable.
