Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has cooled off. Winds from the North West. Favorable for today's ride. The legs felt average to start. Made it in average time to the end of OTR. Some traffic mitigation up the Banducci wall. I was maxed at the top of the climb. The remainder of Banducci went fast. Doing no less than moderate tempo, and mitigating traffic. I had fun on the descent, doing the tuck, reaching 40+MPH. This would be the second time I wore my new helmet. I was somewhat obsessing about it. More about the color, than anything. I was hoping it would be a bit darker than it is. I thought I might grow into it. But, the more I rode, the more I realized it wasn't for me. There's many choices of colors, I'm going to try the matte titanium color this time. Will have to do some research, first. I did my best to keep it off my mind. Concentration wasn't too good. Having to coach myself on too many occasions. I did good time to SS, under the tunnel in about 1:01-ish. I flew through SS and then headed back. The wind was headed east, so I had a nice tailwind. I made my way through the farmlands. Reaching Boss Hogs in about 1:21-ish. There was a detour through CVR. So, there was more traffic than usual. About half way up the climb, I heard a hissing noise. My front tire went flat. So, I pulled over and took my time to fix it. No issues, just the usual routine. All went smooth. The inflation pump worked like a charm. Was near full PSI with one CO2 cartridge. When I got on my bike. It felt light. I don't know why. Just those first few hundred yards felt like a weight off my shoulder's. (almost quite literally). About 1/4 mile later, the legs started to feel heavier. To be expected after going to a complete stop for about 8 or 9 minutes. Nevertheless, I made my way to the summit, through the false flats. Traffic mitigation through Route 202 and then home. Concentration was average at best. Better than the previous ride. Ailments, right hand numbness. Balance and form felt pretty good. Gear worked great. Will be trading in my helmet for a different color. Other notes, I saw one other cyclist today. Looked to be my better.
