這次來港踩車活動是深圳車友毛牛山召集的,他沒有請我幫忙,但係我之前跟牛隊長踩過幾次深圳,見到召集帖後,我飛撲出來,自動獻身要帶的。如果路線上有任何不妥善之處,都是我的責任。牛隊長原計劃是沒有越野的,但係我知道他是喜歡越野的人,所以安排了下半部份的越野路線。
所謂五大線,是做作業時忽然想到的 - 大埔、大帽山、大石鼓、大欖、大棠,都是大字開頭的地名。巧妙的是深圳共五位車友過來(後來得知其中一位是惠州車友),而我邀請了香港車友 Rocky 同騎,他在上村與我們會合,我們也在上村補給後才繼續行程。
今天第一個目標是上大帽山頂,有車友可能不慣爬長坡,上的比較慢,另外有一位車友被鋼絲刺穿車胎,多花了點時間。在荃錦坳與香港車友大隻康偶遇,他一個人踩河背。
牛隊長與幾位踩得較快的車友,到大帽山頂雷達站後,多踩一轉往鉛礦坳方向的林道來回,這才原路落荃錦坳。我與踩得較慢的車友,當然不會再花時間踩落鉛礦坳又踩回來。
今天的騎行,其實也算是好運氣的,香港的夏天,不是大雨就是猛烈陽光。但係我們遇到的是陰天,間中有陽光,有點微風。
山頂下來,在小賣部補給水份後,相信深圳車友都好肚餓了,想知還要踩多久才可以午餐?大概還要踩接近一小時吧。在荃錦坳起步時,與車友阿柴偶遇,他也是一個人踩河背。
既然車友肚子餓,我決定踩河背新入口到直升機坪,之後水泥林道直接到清快塘大休;我原計劃是到大棠午飯的,現在只好在清快塘食麵。
離開清快塘,騎向青龍頭方向,轉圓墩徑,因為車友們都好辛苦了,我與 Rocky 選了一條最快的路線 - 大石鼓 - 落吉慶橋。
到吉慶橋後,我想走最快的路線 - 河背 - 往錦上路車站,但係途中又有偶遇,我的一位行山朋友告訴我前面有魚護處人員,那只好掉頭回吉慶橋,再爬坡過去大棠,踩去錦上路車站;這樣多花了接近一小時。
到錦上路後,有兩位車友要買奶粉與藥油,因此三位深圳車友先回去,我再與兩位車友騎過去錦田購物,這才回去錦上路。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
