Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Wow! what a scorcher today was! In the 90's and the winds from the North-West. I knew right from the start that I would have to keep the pace moderate for as much as the ride that I could. That's what I did. I reached the top of the descent in about 10 minutes and reached Keene in about 27 minutes. I felt pretty good. My legs didn't feel heavy as I thought they were. I knew ahead of time where my critical sections were going to be. I followed through my plan and came out without blowing up or worse. Unfortunately I had very little reprieve from the sun, as it was high noon. Very little shade, except for where there were large trees. My ailments consisted of right hip soreness for a minute or so. Some right hand numbness. The usual heat exhaustion. Concentration was good. I was really focused on keeping my body in the safe zone, given the heat and challenging terrain. Balance was also very good. My legs were hooking up great and I was turning the pedals over nicely. Gear is working well. Not single problem.
