Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's New Year's day! I was thinking about getting out. But, decided to ride indoors instead. The weather is in the low 40's. I chose a route that went through Box Hill. I was planning on riding 20.19 miles, but Zwift is accurate to the tenths. and not hundredths. So, I opted for an hour ride. The gear and kit setup went quick. I hopped on the trainer and started the ride. The legs felt lively. By the time I reached Box Hill, I was sufficiently warmed up. I reached the start of the climb after doing moderate tempo. Once there, I rode the entire climb out of the saddle. Putting in t a good dig over the summit. I think I got 26th. From there, it was the trip back to the start/finish. I put in one more dig through the subway tunnel. From there, I did some in and out of the saddle efforts. More of the same, till I reached the start/finish. When I got there, I had some time left. So I rode till i reached the one hour mark. From there it was cool-down for a few minutes. Concentration was good. The miles went quick and I was in the zone, for the most part. Ailments, the right, top part of my knee had a hint of soreness. I was spinning to mitigate it, it seemed to work. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked perfect. Other notes, there were over 2900 riders today, on this course.
