The weather is overcast. In the 50's. Winds from the North West. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go today. I was on par for a SS,R ride, but decided against it. I was thinking of the Alpine Forest. But in the end decided to do the Tour de Teh (R) route. I'd say it was a good average day. Legs didn't feel great, but not bad either. For the first half of the ride, I put in my mind that once I make the Banducci summit, the remainder will go quick. I made it to the summit in good average time. I took a few moThen ments rest. Put on my skull cap. I let traffic go by, then headed downhill. Practicing the tuck, I was doing 40+ MPH. The farmalnds went quick. Aided by the tailwind. I was eager to reach the last climb. When I got there, I kept the tempo steady. No less than moderate tempo. I kept the momentum going over the top. The false flat was mostly recovery and then Route 202 traffic mitigation to OTR. From there it was mostly fun and games and the usual push over Mariposa. Concentration was good. Few lapses, no gremlins worth mentioning. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, next to none. The head was cold when I reached the summit of Banducci. Felt like I was in need of feeding. Turned out I just needed to get warm with my skull cap. Gear is working great. Other notes, I saw 1 cyclist today.
