Last night was spent in a very cool Hostel ..mind you the collective age of the twenty odd guests wasn't too far away from that of yours truly !!
Still paid my 10€ for pizza and beer...and then had a make the pizza!!..a joint exercise and good fun...checked out tho when karaoke began 😶
By coincidence met a Brazilian guy Leandro there that I'd met two nights previous camping at Verona...we'd traveled basically the same route and so decided to ride together today. Began in the rain after a decent thunderstorm but by the time we crossed into Switzerland it eased and eventually the sun came out.
Had to push hard to keep up with the young buck (and way less gear) but was another superb day and an great way to finish a most excellent adventure !!!
No one here when I arrived so a celebratory Gelato and then a beer in the sun while waiting for Martin and Chris and their 4 other mates who had flight delays etc.
Now 8 days of rides through the valleys and passes of Switzerland 🏞 👍
