The weather is a bit warmer today. winds from the North West. In the low 70's. I wore the standard summer kit. The legs felt ok to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I kept the tempo steady while doing in and out of the saddle efforts. I had matches to burn as I approached the Arosa climb. The Arosa climb went as usual. Perhaps I was a bit impatient in the first few moments. I was near max going over the top. I made my way around the backside. I had fun on the downhill. There were some casual e-cyclists that I passed. Then I headed to the top of Banducci. I pulled over to feed a Clif Bar. I stopped the GoPro camera an forgot to turn it back on. So, I lost footage for the return trip. After feeding, I let traffic by and headed back down the mountain. It was safe with no traffic from behind. I caught back up to the e-cyclists on the flat segment. Apparently they passed me as I was feeding on the top of Banducci. The descent off the Banducci Wall was also safe. I was lightly feathering the brakes. After that was the Buffalo Run. I had a mild tailwind on the way up. So, the climb was quick. After making it back to Highline from the Buffalo neighborhood, I made my way to OTR. Descending off OTR was enjoyable. No traffic from behind. I pushed over Mariposa and made my way back to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I was a bit impatient, but I held it together. I had stuff to think about and no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were minimal. The usual hand soreness. The muscles and joints felt good. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal and some grapes for breakfast. Gear worked flawlessly. Although, the GPS announcements didn't work this time. It hasn't worked on the past 3 or so rides. More investigating on the later. And of course, the mystery clicks persist. I have to summon the courage to service the crankset. Other notes, I saw one or two cyclists and two e-cyclists today.
