It’s starting to feel like fall. There were some clouds. Winds from the North West. About 70 degrees. I wore the standard summer kit with my new socks. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall climb went quick. There was some traffic mitigation along the way. The Arosa climb also felt quick. I had stuff to think about, so that made things go quicker. I made my way around the backside. I had fun on the descent and then made my way to the summit of Banducci. Once there, I pulled over to recover a bit. I fed a Clif Bar with some water. I let traffic by and then headed back down the mountain. The descent was mostly safe. There was minimal traffic from behind. Descending off the Banducci Wall was also quick. I feathered the brakes and stayed alert from oncoming traffic. Then I made my way to the top of Highline and the quick loop around the Buffalo neighborhood. I hopped back on Highline for the return and then to OTR. The OTR descent was relaxing. I pushed over Mariposa and then to the top of Weston where I shut it down. i
Concentration was pretty good. I had a few lapses, but kept it in check. There was a rude motorist, so that didn't help things. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal and some grapes for breakfast. I had some apple sauce and a few grapes just before departing. I fed a Clif Bar with some water during the ride. I drank most of my sport drink. Ailments were minimal. Just the usual hand soreness. Gear worked flawlessly. Hints of mystery clicks have returned. Other notes, no cyclists today. I saw one runner.
