Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted rain today, but it held up. I didn't feel like riding outdoors, so I decided to ride on Zwift instead. I got my gear ready and suited up. I decided to do two laps of the Innsbruck mountain loop. The legs felt a bit heavy to start. They were sufficiently warmed up for the first lap up the mountain. I wasn't really sure what to expect. I set the weight to 138. That's within a pound of my actual weight. (I weighed in at 138 after the ride was over). I settled into the climb. Letting the legs to warm up. after about 10 minutes of climbing. I was able to put more power into the pedals. I was noting my time, wattage, watts/kg, and HR. I was within my limits most of the time. I was out of the saddle a lot. Sitting down to wipe and drink. I rinse and repeat approach. As I was approaching the summit. It showed that I was going to set a PR. I kept the power down, no super digs. I beat my PR by a minute or so. Quite significant and unexpected. After reaching the summit, I headed downhill. letting the legs recover and preparing for the second lap. I reached the base and started the climb again. This time around, my legs were warmed up. I was able to put a bit more power on the lower slopes. I approached the the climb similar to the first time. In the saddle a lot and in the saddle to hydrate and wipe. After about half way, I was continuing to feel good. And it appeared as though I was on similar time to the first lap. I kept the tempo going. About 5 minutes from the summit, it was apparent that I was going to set a negative split. I kept the power down. With about 2 minutes, I noticed that I was within about 10 seconds of a negative split. I was pushing over 4 watts/kg in the last 3 minutes and over 5 watts/kg in the last minute. I was at max over the top and set negative split by about 10 seconds. Setting a PR for the past month or so. Concentration was real good. I found some music that was perfect for riding. Up beat and catchy beat. Definitely helped. Ailments, some soreness in the right ball of my foot as I was climbing. It went away after a few minutes. No numbness in the hands today. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked great. Other notes, there were about 750 riders on this map. I made 8th place on the KOM.
