I had lab in the early morning. I got back before 9AM. I took my morning nap and decided to go out for a ride. They predicted cloudy weather and rain later in the night. I wore the standard winter kit. The wind was from the South East, temperature around 50, plus or minus. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had traffic mitigation. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts. I felt better after making it to the Arosa climb. As I was climbing, I noticed a few water drops on my jacket. So, I kept going for a minute tor two and then decided to head back. I turned around before the speed bumps. I descended off of the Banducci Wall cautiously. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. There were only a few drops of rain. I pushed over Mariposa and then the dig to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I had lots to think about, so the time went quick. No gremlins worth mentioning. Balance and form was good. Ailment were minimal. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal and half a banana for breakfast, before going to the lab. I ate the other half of the banana and a couple grapes before the start of the ride. I drank 2 thirds of my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly. With the help of my dad, I was able to install some shrink wrap tubing on the front derailleur cable as it was exhibiting wear. I had no problems. Other notes, I saw one cyclist and a few walkers. There was a pesky dog that chased me as I crested the top of the Banducci Wall. I was prepared to hit him with my water bottle, but he did not escalate his anger.
