It's a great day to get out. My morning interview was cancelled, so that gave me time to take a quick nap and then get out for a bike ride. It's in the upper 50's, winds from the South East. I decided on the Buffalo Run. I wore double arms, knees, two base layers, head cap, and face mask around the neck. The legs felt pretty good to start. It didn't take too much time for them to get warmed up. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. There was a headwind on the way up Highline, so I took my time. I reached max when I made it to the top of the Buffalo neighborhood. I stopped at the top to check my voice mail and then headed back onto Highline for the return. I had a gerous tailwind on the way back, so that made it more fun. Descending off OTR was relaxing. I pushed over Mariposa and then to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I was in the zone most of the time. No gremlins worth mentioning. I had stuff to think about. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were minimal. Some mild hand soreness here and there. The joints and muscles felt good. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink, with about 25% remaining. No water or feeding. I had a bowl of oat meal for breakfast and a banana with grapes before departing. Other notes, I saw one cyclist and a walker or two.
