Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was colder than the previous ride. I had to wear my arm warmers. My legs felt good in the first 30 minutes of the ride, but it atypically felt worse towards the last half of the ride. I did modest tempo through OTR and up Banducci. The problem started after I got near SS. My right calf started to cramp. I was forced to ease up on my tempo to keep it from getting worse. By the time I made my way out of SS, it got better. The wind was a tail-cross on the way back. I didn't benefit much from it through the farm-lands. When I got out of SS, I felt a bit light in the stomach. So, I ate my reserve bar right after making the left turn on to Pelisser. Overall, I'd say it was a good average ride. Balance was probably the lesser of the ride. Ailments, as indicated, consisted mostly of right calf cramping. Gear is working well. I oiled the chain before departure. I noticed my right cleat/pedal was making a grinding noise. I have to clean it out. I'm still trying to figure out the Charity app. It seems that it needs to be checked every 10 or so miles.
