The weather is very nice! I decided to go outdoors this time. The plan was to go to the first and second risers to see how the legs feel. Winds from the South East. It's around 60 degrees, mostly sunny. I wore knees, thick base layer, arms, jacket, head cap and face mask. That held me over plenty. I didn't want to let the body suffer since my cold has just gone. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of WTR in good time. I cruised the downhill. After reaching the second riser, I decided to go down to the Keene Ranch and head back. So, that's what I did. I had to get used to the slow marching sensation. I stopped once to remove my face mask as it was starting to heat up. I felt better in the morale after reaching the first dip. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts. No heroics today. The morale felt better as the landmarks went by. I was guessing my time to the summit and home. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recover. I put my face mask back on and headed home. I shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had minimal lapses and no gremlins. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness was all. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana, and some grapes for breakfast. I had a some apple sauce before departing. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists today.
Other notes, I put in two digs on the risers.
