I got up and it was cloudy. I thought I was going to be able to do an outdoor ride, but then it started to rain. So, I decided to take a quick nap and then hop on my trainer. That's what I did. I chose this "Jungle Circuit in Watopia" map since it was a 30 minute workout. After getting everything configured, I hopped on. The legs felt a bit on the tight side, but within 5 minutes, it felt better. I kept the tempo steady, no heroics. I did in and out of the saddle efforts. Out of the saddle during the ascents. I tried to keep it around 2 to 3 W/kg. I was watching my HR all the while. After finishing the circuit, I commenced the cooldown. I road for another 5 minutes, soft pedaling. After the HR went back down to 112 BPM I hopped off.
Concentration was good. I was eager to get on the trainer today. I felt better in the mind once completed. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. I had slight knee pains yesterday, but it feels good today. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal and half a banana for breakfast. I had the other half of the banana before hopping on. I drank about half my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly, although there was a moment of outage in the middle of the ride for just a couple of seconds, no problems after that.
Other notes, there were over 6,000 riders when I hopped on.
