Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It was a bit on the cold side. It was unexpected because it was warmer an hour prior to my departure. It felt like a typical fall day on the beach. Cool winds and overcast. I think I could have used a base layer. The wind was from the south, but in the end it changed directions on the last mile or two. My legs felt pretty good, it didn't take much time to get them warmed up. I did good time to Route 202. The outbound leg on Highline was unusual. The wind was turbulent. It started as a cross tail, then a cross wind. I didn't have a perfect tailwind on the way out, so I figured I might was well keep the tempo steady. When I got to the turn-around point, the winds were mostly cross. I think I averaged a bit higher than usual on the way back since I didn't have a perfect headwind. My concentration was, for the most part, spot on. I wasn't fighting to keep my focus. Balance was so so. I was having to twist my hips to see if I could get into better squared position. It seemed to help. Ailments were none. Gear is working great. Today was the first time the Charity app worked from start to finish. I checked the app on 2 occasions. Once on Route 202 intersection (going out), and Willow Springs intersection.
