Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was the first ride to Stallion Springs this year. The weather is nice. It's mostly sunny, in the 60's. Although the winds were from the South East. Not ideal for a ride to Stallion, but I decided to do it anyway. I wore arms, knees, and thick base layer. That turned out to be perfect. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banudcci Wall went ok. There was some traffic mitigation. More of the same to the summit. I made it to the summit in good time. After making it there, I took a few moments to recover, let traffic by and then I headed down the mountain. I had a tailwind on the way down, so I feathered the brakes to keep things under control. It was mostly safe with no traffic from behind as I was making my way down. The trek through the farmlands to SS was a lot of fun. I had a generous tailwind and I was doing around 30 MPH +/- on my way there. I zipped around the backside and then into town. I put in a good sprint on the downhill. My top speed wasn't so good because I was going into a headwind. I stopped at the local park to bio and then headed to the mini-mart. I passed the tunnel in around 57 minutes. So, super quick on the way out. When I got there, I mixed a sport drink and then got back on the road. The ride home was mostly a game of patience. I was going into a headwind, so I wasn't about to red-line it for my ego. I made it to Boss Hogs in around 1:30 hours. So, I gave up a lot of time going into the wind on the way back. The last climb went well. I got shelter from the wind as I was making my way up. After making it to the summit, I pulled over to feed. I fed a Clif Bar with some water. From there, it was non-stop back to home. Route 202 had some traffic mitigation, but it wasn't too bad. I stayed to the right. The OTR descent was mostly relaxing. I had a nice tailwind on the last quarter mile or so. I pushed over Mariposa and then the dig to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about and the morale was good. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were minimal. Just the usual sore hands. My triceps were sore on the descent from being in the hooks and feathering the brakes. Nutrition was good. I had a nice bowl of oatmeal and half a banana before departing. Gear worked perfectly. Other notes, no cyclists today.
