Friday Evening Hardtail Loop On A Deadline

With the riding companion constrained by something called "work", the infamous Germantown Loop on hard tails was the decision.

The route is dirt for about 9 miles with the rest paved trails and a short stretch of street here and there.

Extremely dry trails, temperature in the low 70s and just a lovely evening to be out. No struggle to keep up and the little bit of climbing was not difficult. Legs felt great (especially with two days rest!).

Really enjoy the change of pace on the Niner. It forces you to be much more precise in choosing your lines, as compared to the full-squish.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
