Had a notion to lay out a longer route but by the end of this one I was pretty glad there wasn't much more to ride. This time it's the contact points, griping about pressure. Legs felt fine and weren't dead at the end. WhatEVER. Pretty brisk wind from the SW so the decision to start from the north and head south was in fact a case of choosing wisely. Once over the first part of the true riverbank and headed north up Edwards Ferry Road, the tailwind was awesome, pushing Mr. Body LIke A Sail up that road and through Poolesville, all the way to Whites Store Road. A good bit of the southbound stuff was behind trees or rolling terrain, so there really weren't any extended efforts into the wind. Lovely day; temp in the 70s and the wind itself wasn't cold, being from the SW.
