Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

As I planned, today was for an in-door training ride. The map of the day was Innsbruck. Seemed to be fitting, so I decided to do one lap on the mountain. The legs felt good. I found my comfort zone and I kept it under 145 BPM for the majority of the ride. I was putting in 2.5 to 3.5 W/kg most of the time. I was well within my limits. I 30 day PR'd. I put i a time that I wasn't expecting (in a good way). After completing the climb, I headed downhill. When I got to the next lap, I was at about 40 something minutes. I decided to put in another 2 minutes to make it 45 minutes. Then, I made a u-turn and headed in town. After another 5 minutes, I put in cool-down. The gear worked excellent. No issues. No signs of hunger weakness. I had a bowl of oatmeal and a muffin in the early morning.
