The last day of Waterfalls! It took a bit to get going again on the saddle. My butt hurt. My left hand had less strength and that dang left shifter was still stiff. After the jaunt out to Ontario Control as we had done Day 2-3 before, a group of riders passed me somewhere around mi 18. I stayed with them to about mile 23 as it was against a headwind. Then turned E and had a cross wind from S - SE. Played leap frog with same cyclist of end of Day 3. We stopped together at Byrne Dairy at mile 60.7. Yummy. While there I saw 2 faster guys come up and they turned S before the Byrne and I wondered why because that was off-course. Turns out they then pulled into the Byrne Dairy on W side and we were eating on N side and did not see them on the W side! Eventually Peter Dusel and his wife, the organizers showed up at the dairy. Then off we went down a bumpy rail trail just past the dairy. I did not keep up with my leap frog friend. Too bumpy for my butt. I had bee so excited to get over to Seneca Falls as that was the inspiration city for It;s a Wonderful Life movie. Very disheartening riding in from the south side of town. Maybe that is where the concept of all the workers thrown out of work by plant closing. Then the downtown was there and it was a bit better. The nicest part was leaving town on Gravel Rd. Big houses and large lots. Mi 78 - 103 was no services. I was glad it was not overly hot as I was a bit low on water for not refilling in Seneca Falls. This section was nice to ride with large fields, larger than usual for NY. I reached Wolcott and refueled. Again a bit of disappointment as I expected less miles left but I still had 30 miles to go. Ugh Finally at mile 131 there were 3 wonderful fast miles with wind at my back to get to the end at the Ontario Control! Yahoo. Sonja was kind enough to be there when I arrived. Then I sat there for some 20 minutes with a few other cyclists and volunteers.d Another 1200km DONE.
