Due to the Nor'easter that hit the area in the past 2 days, I opted to modify the perm to remove the gravel sections. Hence the "pvt" (pavement). There were 3 different 1 mile sections of gravel that were swapped out. Then at the end I had to add an out-n-back of 0.4mi to get the total mileage correct.
The ns in the title means "new start". I started at the north end at the Oneco General Store. Parked across the street at an old gas station cement pad.
I drove down from Manchester, NJ to the Oneco start. I was in Manchester, NH for the NER 6-pack 1200, but my bike was not ready in time for the 1200km. So instead I road this perm and 2 others, so far. These 3 perms were my visits to all 6 New England states.
The ride was done with a drizzle most of the time. About 30 minutes were drizzle free, yet the roads were always wet. Very few cars. In fact there were more downed trees and limbs on the road than cars! Well almost. I bet there were at least 30 instances of a major limb or tree. In fact 1 tree was still sitting across the road with only about a 3 ft section to get around it after someone hacked off enough of the tree.
Road surfaces were great to ok. Some sections of new pavement and others had patches. Being the very low count of cars, this was a nice quiet route. The scenery was hampered by the wet, cloudy weather.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
