Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was nice and cool. In the upper 60's. The wind was from the south. I decided to do an improv ride in place of Tour de Teh (SS,R). I ended up going to the top of Highline, Tour de Teh (R) and then to the top of WTR. It ended up being about 1 mile less than the Tour de Teh (SS,R) ride. But the duration was greater than the average ride. I felt average going into the first few miles and was warmed up when I reached Route 202. The Highline climb was done in moderate pace as I was going into a headwind. I was able to hold a high tempo going up Banducci as I had a tailwind to the top. The descent was a treat. I kept the pace moderate through the farmlands and up CVR. When I reached the summit of CVR I ate my reserve bar while making my way to Route 202. From that point, it was mostly fun and games till I reached WTR. Going up WTR to the summt, was done in high tempo. I had a generous tailwind. From that point, I cruised the downhill and more of the same to the way back. My concentration was good. Balance was nice. Ailments consisted of some saddle soreness. Maybe some fatigue in the quads. Gear is working well, the squeeks on the bike stopped, for the most part. I oiled my cleats and reseated my wheels prior to the start of the ride.
