Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's continued to snow today. I decided to ride indoor, on the Zwift London Hilly Loop route. The gear configuration is getting better. Less cables to move around, now. I hopped on the trainer and got under way. The legs felt pretty good from the start. I was warmed up within 10 minutes or so. By the time I reached the first time up Box Hill, I was good to go. I was out of the saddle most of the time. And, I sat down periodically. It's been a while since I did this route, but my memory served me well. The climb lasted less than 10 minutes. I put in a good time. There were only 10 people on this map. I got the KOM. I made my way back to the start finish. Put in a dig through the tunnel riser. Getting back to town took about 10 minutes or so. I put in a 30 minute lap. Taking the route leader jersey. No surprise, just few people riding. The second lap was equally good. The legs were warm, so the first few miles to Box Hill went a bit better. As anticipated. I climbed Box Hill one more time. I matched my previous time up the climb. I had to push it, doing over 4W/kg on the last minute. From there, it was back to town with one more dig up the tunnel riser. I put in another 30 minute lap. Shortly after, I cooled down and completed the ride.
Other notes: The climbing legs felt good. Concentration was good. The music system is working well. Balance and form was good. Maybe a hint of lean to the left. Gear worked flawless. Ailments, next to none.
