Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today’s weather is cold. Unfavorable wind conditions. I was planning on going to SS, today, but the wind was going the opposite direction. I decided to go to the Alpine Forest, instead. I wore the full winter kit. Less the helmet cover. The legs felt average to start. I made to the summit of OTR in average time. I made my way up Banducci. Being that it was the most difficult part of the ride, the morale got better after reaching the top. I headed up the Alpine Forest. Keeping moderate tempo. No red-lining today. The legs felt average. No point in digging too deep. After reaching the summit, I headed to the top of Banducci. The wind was the same, at the summit. I decided to turn around and head back home. From there, it was mostly fun and games, with traffic mitigation. Concentration was average. Some lapses here and there. Gear worked well. Ailments, next to none. Balance and form was good. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
Edit: You started the Charity app, but it recorded just 5 or 6 miles. Turns out that you started a running session, and not a bicycle session.
