Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was nice and comfortable in the 70's with clear skies and winds from the north. I wore 1 base layer. My right knee was a bit sore off the bike, before the ride. After a few miles, the soreness was unnoticeable. My legs felt average for the first 20 minutes. I climbed the Banducci wall, starting modest, and pushed it over the top with a strong tempo. From that point, it was recover and finish the climb. The wind continued to prevail from the north-west, so I decided to proceed with the SS loop. I did moderate tempo through CV and more of the same going over the top of SS. I was on good time, making it to the tunnel in under 1:20 hrs. When I made it out of SS, I decided to keep the tempo moderate until I reached Pelisser. After making the left turn onto Pelisser, I increased the tempo a bit. I stopped a couple of times to take photos. So, all together I stopped 3 times. Most of which lasted less than 2 minutes. The remainder of the ride was mostly pacing. My legs started to feel heavy when I approached the last climb. I was careful about my pace but kept it nice and steady, keeping the momentum going as best I could. I was stretching frequently, on the sections that permitted. Once I reached the top of CVR, I was able to relax a bit and finish the remainder of the ride well within my limits. Concentration was spot on, in the zone for most of the ride. Balance was good. I was getting knocked around from the cross winds. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness and general sensation of fatigue in the legs. Gear is working well, no mishaps there. Other notes, I saw one other cyclist as I was making my way out of CVR.
