Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Another beautiful spring day! Nice and cool, 65ish, winds from the north. I wore 1 base layer + arms. I was delayed on today's ride because I was having stomach cramps earlier in the day. I think I ate too many sugars for breakfast. My legs felt good from the start. It wasn't long before I got warmed up. I did moderate tempo to Route 202, stopped on Banducci, reset the camera to movie mode and continued. The wind was ideal for the out-bound leg. I decided to give it a dig. I kept the tempo high, all the way out to Willow Springs. I'm not sure what my average speed was, but it was likely in the 24 MPH range. The return trip was mostly constant moderate tempo, no digs until I reached the summit. I decided to do the Banducci wall. When I got to the top, I felt real good, so I decided to do the entire climb. My legs continued to feel good, despite going into a headwind for the majority of the climb. Once I reached the summit, I took a 1 minute break and headed down the mountain. From that point on it was mostly fun and games. My concentration was spot on, I was in the zone for nearly the entire ride. I had a feeling of positivity and that carried me for most of the ride. Balance and form was excellent. I was on top of the pedals, nice and square. Ailments consisted of some mild soreness in the quads, maybe a hint in the lower back and right hand. Gear is working perfect. Other notes, I ordered another Gopro battery bac pac. This will give me an additional 2 hours of battery life. The Brunton all day battery is due to be released in August (I think). I want to do Caliente next week, pending good weather forecast and health.
