Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather cooled down in the past few days. It was raining for the past 2 days and there was some snow in the local mountains. I wasn't sure how to dress for today's ride. I wore 2 base layers, arms and knees. I ended up removing the knee warmers and I think I could have gone with only 1 base layer. I felt pretty good from the start, but as usual, it took me to till the end of OTR to be properly warmed up. I kept a good tempo going up the Banducci wall. Recovered on the flats and did mostly moderate tempo to the summit. From that point it was fun and games till I reached the valley floor. I did mostly moderate tempo, but picked it up on some spots. I was able to do a push over the SS summit. I was on good time, reaching the tunnel in under 1:00. After exiting SS, I started the return at moderate tempo and picked it up a notch for the remainder of the ride through the farm lands. I reached Boss Hogs well under 1:20 hours. The last climb was done no less than moderate tempo. I gave it a push over the top. After that I recovered on the flats and fun and games after-wards. My concentration was good for the most part. Not perfect, I had to real in my focus here and there as I did have some minor lapses. Balance and form is coming along nice. I was constantly aiming for that zen sensation. Ailments consisted of some right hand soreness, lower back soreness and a hint of left calf soreness. I was constantly stretching to keep my back and legs in check. Gear is working perfect. I got my new Battery Bac Pac for my Gopro camera. Looks to be working perfectly. Will have to see how it fairs on longer rides. Other notes, I saw 1 other cyclist descending as I was climbing the Banducci wall. There are more markings at the entrance of SS pertaining to the up and coming fiber optic internet service.
