Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. It's raining. I felt like riding in-doors. I chose the Watopia Mountain Loop. There were over 11,000 riders today, when I hopped on. The legs felt pretty good to start. I was in and out of the saddle for the first 10 minutes. Just trying to get the legs warmed up for the ride. When I reached the start of the climb, I had to adjust the front riser block. I decided to turn around and start again. Then, I dropped my front chain! So, I put it back on and then turned around one more time to get a fresh start. From there, it was non-stop. I was out of the saddle most of the time. Doing over 3 Watts/kg. I sat down to wipe and for momentary recovery. The miles went quick. There weren't as many riders as I thought there'd be, with such a big turn-out. I followed the land-marks. Trying not to count down the miles, so much. I made it to the tunnel and was able to hold high tempo through, to the other side. Then the undulations. Mostly recovery and wiping sweat. I was on good time, so I kept the power down. I did a 30 day PR. In 26 minutes and change. I finished off the climb, with the bonus climb. Then down, back to town. Trying to keep the legs warm, not letting up on the pace, much. I was trying to do the minutes calculations, based on the speed I was holding. When I reached the base, I kept the tempo going. Out of the saddle on much of the flat and rolling terrain. I put in a dig through the sprint zone. No PR, but spinning out on the biggest gear. From there it was back to the start finish and then cooldown, before stopping. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some mild knee soreness that didn't linger. Gear worked great. Nutrition, I drank about 2/3rds of my Accelerade.
