Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was the first day I got out early. I ate around 7am-ish. The weather was nice and cool. Somewhere in the upper 60's. I wore 1 light base layer. My upper body is a little sore from the previous day's strength training. But, it didn't pose any hindrance on the ride. My legs were a bit heavy to start, but warmed up just as quick. I made it to the top of the descent in average time. I cruised the downhill and made my way down to the Keene basin in average time. The return climb felt good. My legs didn't take too much time to get re-warmed up for the remainder of the ride. I did steady tempo, no less than moderate. I was out of the saddle when necessary, especially the steeper sections as I normally do. My concentration was spot on, I was in the zone for nearly the entire ride. No gremlins today. Ailments consisted of a hint of numbness in the right hand. Some saddle soreness. Otherwise, my body felt lively. Balance and form is coming along nicely. Gear is working well, but I think I forgot to turn in the video on when I was on the way back from the summit. Other notes. There was a train on the way down as I was descending, I was keeping up with it for a minute or two. Must look neat on the video.
