I was expecting it to be warmer, today. I was debating if I should go to Keene, or an in-door ride. I decided on Keene, and it was a good decision. When I got out, it was around 76-ish degrees. With cool winds from the North West. The left knee is nearly 100% back to normal. Still some minor pains. I made it to the summit of the descent in good average time. I made my way down. Put in two digs on the risers. I reached the base in average time. Around 28 minutes or so. I spared no time, and headed back up the mountain. I was concerned about the temperature, but it wasn't much of a factor. I was listening to my music on the ascent. It helped. I was staying away from the red-line. Trying to stay in that sweet spot. After making it to the second dip, I knew I was going to be ok. I made it to the summit in good average time. Concentration was good. Ailments, some hand numbness. I shook it off, to mitigate. That seemed to help. Balance and form felt better today, than the previous ride. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was spot on. I drank about 1/3 of my sport drink and some water. Other notes, no other cyclists today. I saw a train near the base of Keene. They were using some sort of crane that rolled along the carts, on the top side. Looks to have been moving cargo around. I think I got it on video.
