Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's a bit cooler today. I decided to go to the Alpine Forest and decide what to do next. I made it to the end of OTR in average time. The Banducci wall wasn't as bad as I anticipated. There was road construction, so I was delayed by a few seconds. I was a bit disappointed, because I was looking forward to the descent, down the wall. The Alpine Forest felt good. I was within my limits and was keeping a good tempo. I made my way around and to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments rest and then headed down. In the meantime, I was debating where to go next. I knew I wanted to go to Highline, but how far, I wasn't sure. I decided to make the decision based on the wind conditions. As I was making my way out on Highline, I noticed the wind was picking up. So, I calculated how far to go on Highline to put in a 30 mile ride. I turned around at mile 17. I made my way back and then hopped onto the Walmart bike path. After making it back from the bike path, I made my way back on Highline. The 1 mile climb was a chore, but I kept my concentration and momentum going. After reaching the summit, the morale got better. I made my way to OTR. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand numbness. Gear worked great. Nutrition was good. I consumed most of my provisions. No hunger pains. Other notes, I saw 5 or 6 cyclists today.
