Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I had a lack of energy two days ago. It felt like I was just about recovered. I was debating to go riding, or not. I decided to go. The weather is great. I figured if I feel less than average, then just relax, and keep the tempo easy. Turns out that the legs felt pretty good from the start. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. I made my way up the Banducci wall, and to the summit. Trying to keep it below 150 BPM. Some traffic mitigation, here and there. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments rest and checked the GoPro battery. It was unusually low. About 40% charge remaining. And I hardly ridden for 38 minutes, or so. I figured it would run out when I was somewhere near SS. I made my way down the mountain. Doing my tuck and reaching speeds in excess of 40 MPH. The ride to SS was enjoyable. No heroics. Just, nice moderate tempo. I made my way around the backside. The downhill was fun. Almost reaching 40 MPH, in the process. I noticed that they posted a sign that said they will be oiling the streets at the end of the month. I made it to the tunnel in about 1:02 Hours. I zipped through town and then headed back, through the farmlands. Mostly enjoyable. When I got back on Banducci, I checked the GoPro camera and noticed that it was turned off. So, the battery was depleted, and likely off for about 5 to 10 minutes. I'll have to check the footage. I was averaging about 18 to 20 MPH, most of the way back. I reached Boss Hogs in about 1:22ish Hours. So, I didn't give up too much time. The last climb went well. I kept the tempo moderate. In and out of the saddle. I kept the momentum going over the summit. The knees were complaining, just a bit. From there it was traffic mitigation through Route 202. (I had to let traffic by, after which, no traffic came from behind). It was mostly fun and games once I reached OTR. Concentration was good. I didn't have to rely too much on topics to meditate on. The morale felt good. Balance and form was good. Ailments. Some knee soreness going over the summit on CVR. It dissipated after a few moments after making it to the false flats. Gear worked great. I dropped my chain once. Nutrition was good. I had just enough provisions to make it back, without rationing. I was getting hunger signs, the moment I got back. Other notes, I saw 2 or 3 cyclists today.
