Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I was intent on going to SS, today. I got out about 30 to 60 minutes earlier than usual. The legs felt responsive. I did have a slight tightness in the left calf. It never escalated, though. The weather was about 80-ish, when I got out. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. Banducci went fast. I was doing high tempo, most of the way. I made it to the summit in about 34 minutes and change. Very fast. The downhill was fun. Reaching 42 MPH. The trek to SS was quick. I was doing 18+ MPH. I made my way around the backside and then headed downhill. Apparently, they just finished applying a layer of sealant in the tarmac. It was dry. I reached close to 40 MPH on the downhill. I forgot to check the time at the tunnel. I guess I was keeping on eye on the pavement, as I didn't want to run over wet tar. Fortunately, not to be the case. When I reached the exit of SS, I took a peak at the clock. It showed 1 hour. So, I must have reached the tunnel in about 56 to 57 minutes. Or so. The way back on the flat roads went quick. I kept good tempo going. The left calf was still tender, but continued to stay in check. I reached Boss Hogs in about 57-ish minutes. I must have gave up about 1 minute, from the SS tunnel. The last climb felt good. Before I started, I stopped to check the GoPro camera battery. It had quite a bit of charge remaining. Not a super fast climb, but not slow either. I kept the tempo going over the top. I took a few moments rest. No handed a few moments, then got on with the rest of the ride. Route 202 was traffic mitigation. I had to merge into traffic, to make a left turn. I merged, just as there was a sheriff's car behind me. They gave me no troubles. From there, it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. I had a few things to wonder about. And, the morale was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, the left calf. Some pain in the right wrist. General quad soreness. Gear worked great. I think I will need to service the headset, next. Nutrition was spot on. No hunger pains. I drank most of my provisions. Other notes, I saw one casual cyclist, as I was ascending Banducci. The new GoPro battery almost lasted the entire ride.
