Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got out a bit later than I wanted. Fortunately, the heat eased up. It was no hotter than low 80's. Winds from the North-West. I wore the standard kit. I got my new cycling socks from Performance Bike. They fit tall, but I fold them down to the length that I like. I think they will work just fine for the remainder of the year. My legs felt good from the start. I knew I had a fair amount of riding ahead of me so I paced myself accordingly. I made it to the check points in good average time. My plan was to do W.S. and then up Banducci. If I had enough fluids to last the SS (R) loop, then I would continue. Turns out that I had the perfect amount. Just shy of half full bottles. Suffice it to say, I had just a few gulps left when I reached home. After I made it to the farmlands, I knew I could increase the tempo, and that's what I did all the way to Boss Hogs. A few hundred yards before the Bear Valley stop sign, I stretched, slowed down the pace to catch my breath and focus. Going up the last climb, I held a good tempo. No digs over the summit. From that point on, it was recovery through the false flats and fun and games down Route 202 and O.T.R. Concentration was good for the most part, I had some lapses here and there. I was able to shake them off and regroup my focus. Some coaching here and there picked up the remainder. Ailments consisted of some right hand numbness, right knee soreness in the last 6 or 7 miles of the ride. I had to adjust my tempo to let it recover and put more force into my left leg and let up on my right. The pain subsided by the time I reached O.T.R. I had saddle soreness, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. I had the sensation of BM, but fortunately it subsided. I guess it was that time of day. Good to note. Balance and form came along nicely. Gear is working perfect. I took some photos of the windmill farms at the end of Highline and W.S. There's a new structure there. I'm curious to see what the video shows up. I took 2 modes, 1080p and 4k. Other notes, I saw about 3 cyclists out there.
