Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's raining as was predicted. I decided to do an indoor training session. An easy route. So I chose the Sand and Sequoias route. I felt pretty good to start. It took a while to get fully warmed up. I was able to put in a good effort on the timed climbing section. I was doing mostly above 3 W/kg. Out of the saddle most of the time and sitting to wipe sweat and drink. I got one hundred something place out of who knows. There were about 7000 riders when I started the ride. After making it through the hilly part, I toned it down and made my back to the start/finish. I finished it off with a cooldown to 112BPM. Concentration was good. I was a bit impatient and eager to get the ride under my belt. Ailments, some left arm soreness from being out of the saddle and pushing it in the timed climbing zone. Balance was ok. Slightly favoring one side. Gear worked great. I adjust the saddle rotation a bit clockwise. Pending confirmation on the next ride. Nutrition was good. Some Gatorade. Other notes, I think this was the most riders I've seen on Zwift.
