Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do today. The weather was cloudy with a bit of rain when I got up. So, I decided to hop on Zwift. I chose this map because it had some climbing and the mileage would make it for a near 1 hour ride. When I lined up, there were only about 85 riders when the ride started. I was in the front row. I wasn't sure what to expect with a small group like this. I put in my mind that I wanted to keep up with the top half as much as I could. The ride started as it usually does. People going ride from the start. I found myself in the top half. I just told myself to hang on till the climbing started. This course had enough climbing so that I could keep up with the top half. Turns out that I was in the top 25 for most of the ride. I'm honing in my spinning skills on the flats and descents. I wasn't red-lining it from start to finish. Most of the time, my HR was around 150. When I found my group, I tried to keep the tempo steady. Only till the last lap did I increase my tempo and move up in the field. By this time, the pack was spread out with groups no bigger than 5 or 6. In the end, I found myself with one other guy. I was able to put in a good sprint to finish ahead. Concentration was good. I was captivated. I've yet to ride this course. Or if I did, I don't remember. Balance and form was ok. I felt like I was favoring the right leg. Perhaps some adjustment on the trainer's feet. Ailments, my hands got numb once and a while, so I had to shake them off while in the saddle. Gear worked prefect. Nutrition was good. I had about 1/4 of my Gatorade. No water. Other notes, there were 30,000 riders when I checked, earlier in the morning.
