Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

This is the first ride I've done since the recent surgery. I felt a bit weak. I wasn't sure how the body was going to respond. I'm 128 lbs now. So, I've lost a lot of weight. After about 10 minutes of riding, I was able to get out of the saddle. The legs started to feel more familiar at this point. I kept my HR below 130 BPM most of the time. It was a good ride. My body responded better as the ride went on. I added about 1.5 miles to bring up the mileage to about 10-ish miles. So, that was over 30 minutes in the saddle. My wounds still hurt a bit when I stand up right or move my upper body around. I have to be careful not to lift to much weight. Cycling is the perfect sport to practice. My upper body is mostly unaffected by it. I think it will help with my digestion.
I was putting in over 3 W/kg, to my surprise. I'm about 10 lbs lighter, so that has a lot to do with it. Other notes, there were about 3000 riders on the Watopia map. There's more runners now.
