Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I have surgery planned for this Wednesday. The weather is lightly raining. I decided to do an indoor workout after my errands. Hence, the late start time. I did the Innsbruck Short Lap. I felt better than the previous ride. I was able to hold 3 W/kg for most of the climb. I had to answer a call about half way up the climb. So, I was delayed a few minutes. I kept training as I was on the phone. I kept the tempo nice and steady. I did just one lap today, as that was as much time would permit. The body responded well. I was sweating about 15 minutes into the ride. Concentration was good. I had the music going. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked perfect. Ailments next to none. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs, I had about 1/3 of my Gatorade. No water. I'm having a late lunch now. Other notes, I think there were less than 600 riders on this map today.
Other notes, I leveled up to 24. I was in the top 20 for the Innsbruck Short Lap. Probably would have been top 10 if I didn't have to answer the phone.
