Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I decided to go to the Alpine Forest after having felt not so good on the previous ride. The temperature is around 80 degrees. Winds from the North West. The plan was to go to the summit of OTR and see how the legs felt. When I got there, it did average time. The legs felt good enough to proceed to the Alpine Forest. Climbing up the Banducci Wall had a lot of traffic mitigation, so I was always looking back at my six. It definitely made it difficult to settle into a tempo. After reaching Arosa, I was able to relax a bit. I put it in my small gear and made my way up. I felt comfortable, although getting warmer too. I was able to settle into a moderate tempo, and the legs were able to keep pace. After reaching the summit, I peaked at my HR, it was at 160 BPM, so near my limit. I made my way around the backside, had fun on the descent and made my way to the Banducci summit. I didn't spend much time there. Probably less than a minute. From there, I headed back down the mountain. Minimal traffic mitigation required. After making it safely to OTR, it was mostly fun and games from there. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. Some good, some not so good. At least I was able to keep it on the positive side. Balance and form was good. Gear worked perfect. I replaced the chain the other day. No more stiff links or mis-shifts. Nutrition was good. I had all of my Gatorade. Based on this, I'll have to bring an extra bottle the next time I head to SS. Ailments, some hand numbness. Other notes, I had a bad gastro moment when I was taking a nap. I had to ice the abs and sit up a bit. After about 20 minutes, the pain went away and I felt like normal. When I got home, I noticed a small lump under my right arm. I have an appointment with my PCP, so I'll bring that up and see what he says. I saw one other cyclist today on his way up Banducci as I was descending.
