Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather is horrible now. Tons of smoke in the air from local wild fires. Perfect for riding indoors. I had to reset twice from GI pains. I'm assuming it has mostly to do with the Pfizer Vaccine. Nevertheless, I was able to put in an indoor ride. I chose the Watopia mountain loop. The plan was to ride to the summit and head back down without doing the bonus climb. That's exactly what I did. The legs felt responsive from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the base of the climb. I was doing 3+ W/kg most of the time. The HR was well within my limits and I kept it that way for the duration of the climb. I put in a 27 minute and change time up the climb. Good for about 25th place. I wasn't sure how the body was going to respond, such is the reason why I didn't push it into the red. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some left shin soreness. I'll have to adjust the cleat, and I'm guessing a bit back as per a more forward stance on the left pedal. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was good. No hunger pains. The Gatorade held me over till the end of the ride. I had a bit of water to dilute the concentration. Other notes, there were about 1700 riders on this map today.
