Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was cold, but sunny skies. Winds from the south today and low 40's. I wore the complete kit. Face mask, arms, legs, 2 base layers, full gloves, cap. I felt good from the start. I had a tailwind going out to Keene, so that made somewhat of a bias sensation. I made it to the top of the descent in good time, as usual on a tailwind day. I cruised the downhill, actually having to back off on some sections as the tailwind gave me an extra boost. I think I reached near 42 MPH as I was about 2/3rds down the descent. After reaching the bottom, I adjusted my leg warmers and headed back. As I expected, the headwind proved to be an additional challenge. I did most of the climb in moderate to good tempo. No digs today. I felt good, despite the extra effort required. Concentration was good. Some momentary lapses some gremlins as I was coming back down on WTR. Balance and form felt good. Ailments consisted of some minor lower back pain about 2 miles to the summit. It lingered, but didn't hinder my tempo. Gear is working well. No issues there. I did, however, drop my chain just as I made the right hander on WTR, on the outbound. It took 5 seconds to shift it back onto the chain ring. Other notes, no cyclists or runners today.
