Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I made today my climbing day. Keene + the Alpine Forest. I tried to guess the wearables accordingly. I got it right. I wore a thick base layer and my arm warmers. The weather was in the 70's with winds from the South East. I brought 3 bottles and stashed one in the mail locker. I headed out to Keene. I had a tailwind at this time, so the ascent to the top of Keene was quick. The descent was pleasant. I soft pedaled most of the way. I put in two modest digs over the risers. After reaching the base, I headed back. I checked the GoPro battery charge somewhere along the way and it was at 100%. The ascent went well. I kept the tempo modest for the first mile or so. I had a headwind at this time, so I was having to pay special attention. I had stuff to think about, so by the landmarks went fast. I was thinking about the Spooktacular ride and the requirements to give it a go. Mostly GI compliance. The legs and body felt good. After making it to the second dip, I was getting better in the morale. I kept the tempo going. No less than moderate. After reaching the summit, I made my way to the mail lockers. I checked the GoPro Battery, it remained at 100%. I swapped bottles and then headed to OTR. The legs were warmed up so I was able to keep it at moderate tempo without going through the warmup phase. I reached the end of OTR in average time (all things considered). Then the Banducci Wall. It had minimal traffic, so I was better able to concentrate on my tempo. After reaching the Alpine Forest, the morale felt much better. Less traffic and the last climb of the day. I was doing no less than moderate tempo. Towards the last speed bumps, I was doing mostly high tempo. I was near max when I reached Lemans. From there I mad my way around the backside of the Alpine Forest. I reached over 44 MPH on one of the descents. When I made it to the Banducci summit, I took a few moments rest and then headed back down the mountain. I had a headwind at this point, so I just cruised it till I reached OTR. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was mostly good. I was a bit discouraged about the GI and having to think about deciding to do the Spooktacular ride. More about that later. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand soreness and numbness on the out of the saddle climbs. The ball of my right foot was a bit sore when I was climbing up Keene. Nutrition was good. I had about one and a half bottles of Gatorade. Some water. Gear worked perfect. Although the GPS lost a signal. I don't remember where, but I think it happened before I was riding up OTR. Other notes, no cyclists out there today.
