This is the second ride after the recent ERCP procedure. I feel much better now. Almost back to normal. Sort of feels like I just got off a taper. I decided to head out to the summit of OTR to see how the legs feel compared to the last ride. Turns out that the legs felt 100% better. My breathing feels good, too. I reached the summit of OTR in good average time. When I got there, I decided to add the Banducci summit. The body was responding well to the stress. The climb went fast. There was some traffic mitigation, as is always on that route. When I reached the summit, there was some road construction. Looks like they are going to pave the summit turn-out. I had to recover on the road, because the new tarmac was still fresh. I made my way down the mountain, had fun on the descent off the Banducci Wall. From there, it was back to OTR and home. Mostly fun and games. Concentration was real good. Minimal lapses, and the morale felt good. The weather was great, very therapeutic. Balance and form was good. Ailments, next to none. Perhaps some very mild lingering of GI soreness. Nutrition was good. I had about 1/4 of my Gatorade and a few sips of water. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
