Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Our pet cat, Snickers past away on the 14th. One of the friendliest cat I've ever known. This ride is dedicated to her. I've collected two rocks from my bike ride today in commemoration.
The weather was fantastic. Nice and cool. Mid 60's with winds from the South. I wore the standard kit, with one light base layer. I was going to do the full SS,R ride, but decided against it, given the wind condition. The wind was bearable, for the most part. I felt good going out the door, despite the fact that I was going into a headwind immediately after the left hander on WTR. It didn't take much time to get warmed up. The usual end of OTR was enough. Banducci was comfortable given the tailwind. I did mostly moderate tempo to the summit. I paused for a few moments at the summit. I found a rock for Snickers, so I picked it up, put it into my saddle bag and commenced the downhill. The downhill was a treat, as is always with a generous tailwind. I think I reached 44MPH. After reaching the base, I made the right turn onto Pelliser. As expected, it was the usual battle through the cross-headwind. Such was the case for the remainder of the ride. I did mostly moderate tempo. I was well within my comfort limit. The last climb was mostly moderate tempo. No heroics. For the first mile, I was looking for another rock, and found one. I picked it up, put it in my saddle bag, and finished the climb. I recovered a bit over the false flat and carefully made my way down Route 202 to OTR. From there it was fun and games. My concentration was good, all things considered. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were next to none. Gear is working well. Bike continues to creak, but this time less. Still more investigating. Other notes. I thought of a quote today as I was battling through the winded sections. It goes something like this... "Everyone casts their own shadow. Some bigger than others. But one thing we all have in common is that they are all unique."
Other notes. I did have an ailment. I woke up with a sore eye. It persisted for a few hours. It was mostly gone by the time I started the ride. Right now, it feels fine, but slight blurry vision at the moment.
Other notes, I saw two other cyclists today and two horses apparently kissing eachother. Wish i could have gotten a photo of that.
