Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was nice and cool with turbulent wind conditions. In the low 60's. I wore the standard kit with arms, knees and 1 base layer. I brought my cap, but didn't need it. When I departed the winds were from the North. I felt good from the start. It didn't take me that much time to get warmed up. About the time I reached route 202, I was sufficiently warmed up. I did good tempo to the top of Highline. From there it was mostly moderate tempo. I had a headwind for about half the way to WS. After half way to WS, the wind changed directions. It was a welcome surprise, as was reluctant to ride back into a headwind. After making it to the turn around point, I started the return leg with moderate tempo. The wind was on my back (very mild). So the miles went fast. The wind turned into a headwind as I approached the summit. It was manageable. Once I reached Route 202, it was mostly fun and games. My concentration was good, all things considered. Our family pet is going to pass any day now, so I was somewhat preoccupied with that. In a weird way, it gave my concentration something to focus on. Balance and form felt good for the majority of the ride. Ailments were next to none. Perhaps a hint of lower back soreness. Gear is working well. There were the same mystery creaking noises as in the last ride, but it went away by the time I reached Route 202, on the outbound. Other notes, I saw 3 cyclists today. Good to know people are getting out. Given that our pet is about to pass, my moral isn't the greatest, but I think I'm taking it well. We're hoping she passes quietly.
